I’m not sure where the inspiration for the Barnacle Bill plus size costume has come from. He looks like one of the ghost pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean but after doing a few searches it appears he is the lead character in a famous and rather bawdy sea shanty. So he fills two hats for your next Halloween costume. You can scare the daylights out of friends and strangers and then you can cheer them up by singing the naughty but jovial sea shanty.

As I say, beware of who is listening to the sea shanty  as it is definitely adults only entertainment. I imagine it sounds better when you are a few sheets to the wind too. (for the singer and the listener I would guess).
